1. Who these terms are with
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a contract between you and NoorLyfe, a sole proprietorship established in Denmark, trading as Casacabe (“Casacabe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). CVR-nr. 37575852 (DK37575852). Address: Lyngbyvej 83A, 2100 Copenhagen Ø, Denmark.
They govern your use of casacabe.com, the Casacabe desktop software for Mac and Windows, license keys, downloads, and related support (together, the “Services”). By buying, downloading, installing, or using Casacabe, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you buy for a restaurant or other business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. The business is also bound.

2. Who may buy
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Casacabe is sold for business use by independent restaurant owners and similar operators. It is not directed at children.
We sell worldwide. We may refuse or cancel an order where sale would break Danish, EU, United States, United Kingdom, or other applicable sanctions or export rules, or where we reasonably suspect fraud.
3. The product
Casacabe is desktop restaurant back-office software you install on your own computer. It is not a point of sale, not payroll, and not a cloud accounting suite. In version 1 it does not sync to Toast, Square, QuickBooks, or similar services.
Restaurant numbers you enter stay on your computer. We do not host that data. We cannot see it. You are responsible for backups.
The current price, what is included, and system requirements are on the Pricing and Requirements pages. Those pages are part of the offer. If something on the marketing site conflicts with these Terms, these Terms control.
4. License
When payment clears, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable (only for breach), non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use one copy of Casacabe on one computer, for one independent restaurant location, for your internal business purposes.
You may receive Mac and Windows installers. You may use the installer that matches that one licensed computer. You may not run the same license on a second computer at the same time, share the license with another location, or use it for a chain or multi-unit group.
You may make one backup copy of the installer and of your local data files. You may not:
- resell, rent, lend, sublicense, or publish the software or license key
- copy the software except as needed to install and back up that one computer
- remove proprietary notices
- circumvent license, activation, or copy protection
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except to the limited extent that mandatory law (including EU software directive rights) allows, and only after you first ask us in writing for the information you need for interoperability
We and our licensors keep all intellectual property in Casacabe. You own the restaurant data you enter. You do not buy the source code or any Casacabe trademark.
5. Orders, price, taxes, and payment
You buy through our website. Checkout is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
The price is the one-time amount shown on the Pricing page at the time you pay. It is not a subscription. Unless the Pricing page says otherwise, Mac and Windows installers are included in that one purchase, subject to the one-computer license above.
Prices are listed in US dollars unless we say otherwise. You are responsible for any VAT, sales tax, use tax, GST, or similar that applies to you, except where Stripe or we are required to collect it at checkout and do collect it. A tax collected at checkout is added or included as shown in Stripe before you pay.
A charge is final when Stripe confirms payment. We may cancel and refund an order that we cannot fulfill or that we reasonably believe is fraudulent or unlawful. That is not a general refund policy.
6. Delivery
After payment we email the license key and download instructions to the email used at checkout. Delivery is electronic. Risk and the license pass to you when we send that email or when the download becomes available, whichever is first.
Keep your license key secret. If you lose access to the email account, contact support@casacabe.com. We may ask you to prove the purchase before we resend a key.
7. Refunds and withdrawal
Casacabe is digital software delivered immediately after payment. We do not offer voluntary refunds, returns, or exchanges once the order is placed, except where a law says we must.
United States
US federal law does not give a general cooling-off right for software you buy and receive online. Some state consumer laws still apply and cannot be waived. If a non-waivable state law requires a remedy, we will honor that law.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and similar consumer rules
If you are a consumer (not buying as a company) in the EEA, UK, or another place with a mandatory distance-selling withdrawal right, you may have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract.
That right is usually lost for digital content once performance begins, if you clearly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose the right to withdraw. If checkout asks you to confirm that, and you do, you agree the license and download may start at once and that you lose that withdrawal right.
If you are a consumer who still has a mandatory withdrawal right (for example you did not consent to immediate delivery), email support@casacabe.com within the legal period. We will explain how to withdraw and refund the price you paid, using the same payment method where required.
If the software cannot be used
If a paid license cannot be installed or activated on a supported system because of a defect we are responsible for, email us. We will try to get you running. If we cannot, and the law requires a remedy, we will repair, replace, or refund as that law requires. This is not a change-of-mind refund.
Nothing in these Terms limits a mandatory consumer guarantee, including those under EU or UK consumer law, Australian Consumer Law, or non-waivable US state law.
8. Your restaurant data
Everything you type or import into the app (sales, expenses, invoices, staff records, and similar) is stored only on your computer. The app does not send that data to us. We have no copy and cannot restore it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for who can use that computer, and for backups. If the computer fails, we cannot recover your file from our servers, because we do not have it.
If you enter personal data about staff, vendors, or guests, you are the controller of that data. You must have a lawful basis to keep it on your machine.
9. Acceptable use
You may use Casacabe only in a lawful way. You may not use it to commit fraud, hide money, violate employment, tax, or bookkeeping law, or infringe other people’s rights. You may not attack our website, scrape it in an abusive way, or interfere with other customers.
Invoice layouts, reports, and totals are tools for your own records. They are not legal, tax, payroll, or accounting advice and are not a substitute for a bookkeeper, CPA, or lawyer.
10. Updates and versions
Your purchase includes version 1 updates and bug fixes we choose to release. We do not promise a schedule. We do not promise that Casacabe will stay compatible with every future operating system.
A new major version may be sold separately. We may stop supporting an old version after we say so. The license for the version you paid for does not end only because a newer version exists.
Updates may be offered as downloads from our site or a host we use (for example GitHub Releases). Downloading from a third-party host is also subject to that host’s terms.
11. Support
Support is by email at support@casacabe.com. We do our best to respond as quickly as we can, but we do not guarantee a specific response time. We do not promise phone, chat, or on-site help. We do not promise we can fix every issue, especially issues caused by your computer, OS, or data.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Casacabe and the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the software is error-free, that reports match any particular accounting standard, or that using Casacabe will meet a lender’s, tax authority’s, or investor’s requirements.
Some US states and other countries do not allow certain warranty disclaimers. In those places, the disclaimer applies only as far as the law allows, and any implied warranty that cannot be disclaimed lasts only as long as the law requires.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or cost of substitute software, even if we were told they were possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of these Terms or the Services is the amount you paid us for the license that gave rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to liability that the law does not let us limit, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where that cannot be limited, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Danish law or under mandatory consumer law that applies to you.
You agree you use Casacabe at your own risk for business decisions. Keep independent books and professional advice as your situation requires.
14. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify NoorLyfe and Casacabe against claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the software, your restaurant data, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law, except to the extent we caused the claim by our own willful misconduct.
15. Export, sanctions, and US rules
You may not buy, download, or use Casacabe if you are in a country or on a list where Danish, EU, UK, United Nations, or United States sanctions forbid the transaction. You may not export or re-export the software in violation of those rules, including the US Export Administration Regulations if they apply to your download or use.
Casacabe is mass-market business software. You are responsible for checking that your use is allowed in your location.
16. Third-party services
Checkout uses Stripe. The website is hosted by Vercel. Downloads may be hosted on GitHub or a similar provider. Those companies have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their services except as mandatory law requires.
17. Termination
You may stop using Casacabe at any time. That does not by itself create a refund.
We may terminate or suspend your license if you materially breach these Terms, including sharing or selling the license, or if we are required to do so by law. On termination you must stop using the software and delete copies, except copies you must keep under bookkeeping law. Sections that should survive (including license restrictions, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) survive.
18. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. The updated Terms apply to new purchases when posted.
For a license you already paid for, material changes apply if we email the address we have for you or post a notice, and only to the extent allowed by law. If you do not agree, your remedy is to stop using Casacabe. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance, except where mandatory law says otherwise.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would choose another country’s law.
If you are a business customer, the courts of Denmark have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence where mandatory law gives you that right. If you live in the United States, nothing here waives a non-waivable right under the consumer protection statute of your state. If you live in the EEA or UK, you may also use the EU ODR platform or a local consumer board where available.
Before filing a claim, email support@casacabe.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. This informal step does not extend any statute of limitations except as the law requires.
20. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement for the Services. They replace prior terms for the same subject. If a court finds a part unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may assign these Terms in connection with a sale of the business. You may not assign the license. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. There are no third-party beneficiaries except as a surviving indemnity requires.
The English version controls. Headings are for reading only.
