Pricing & purchase

Is Casacabe a subscription?
No. $149 once for founding members. That includes all v1 updates. No monthly fee, ever.
What happens after 50 founding seats?
Price goes to $249 for new buyers. Founding members keep v1 updates at the $149 price they paid.
What payment methods do you accept?
Secure checkout via Stripe. Major credit and debit cards accepted.

Data & privacy

Where is my data stored?
On your computer in a local database. We do not host your data in the cloud. We cannot see your revenue, wages, or invoices.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not have access to your restaurant data. It never leaves your machine unless you export it yourself.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Export Profit and Loss reports to CSV or PDF. Your data is yours to take anywhere.
What if my computer crashes?
Back up your data regularly — Casacabe does not provide cloud backup. Export reports and keep local backups like you would any important business files.

Product & features

Mac or Windows?
Both. You get installers for each platform with your license. See system requirements.
Does it connect to Toast, Square, or QuickBooks?
Not in v1. You enter or import your own numbers. We say this upfront so you are not surprised after purchase.
What is prime cost?
Food, beverage, and labor combined as a percentage of sales. Casacabe tracks it on the dashboard and in reports so you can compare to your target.
How do invoices work?
You add vendor bills with amounts and due dates. Mark them paid when you pay. The dashboard shows outstanding totals.
Can my accountant use it?
You can export Profit and Loss to CSV or PDF and send those files. Casacabe is not a full general ledger replacement for complex entities.
Multiple locations?
One license is for one independent location. Chains and multi-unit groups are not supported in v1.

Is there phone support?
Email only. We are a small team focused on building the product. Email lets us give thorough, documented answers.
